Field Day 2025: High-Quality Wheat and Partnerships for Growth
Field Day 2025 at VILIYA was dedicated to high-quality wheat, with a special focus on milling varieties. This year, the event brought together around 200 partners from across Ukraine — agricultural professionals who, like us, strive for development and innovation in production.
The event programme included:
✅ Overview of winter wheat demo plots
Our guests explored various wheat varieties and seed multiplication fields aimed at producing the highest quality grain for flour.
Very useful information on cultivation technology and choosing varieties for different soil types shared one of the participants.
✅ Excursion to the modern flour mill in Lutsk
Attendees visited the Buhler Swiss-manufactured mill, launched in 2023, equipped with the latest grain processing technologies.
The level of automation and cleanliness of production processes is impressive
✅ Training and experience exchange with DSV
During the event, farmers had the opportunity to communicate with DSV representatives, discuss modern approaches to crop nutrition and protection, share experiences, and get answers to current questions.
✅ Professional presentations by VILIYA experts
🔹 Liliya Shumska, Head of Agroresource Sales Department at Volyn-Zerno-Produkt LLC, presented an overview of global pricing trends for mineral fertilizers, noting a possible increase in potash fertilizer prices.
🔹 Alina Shevchuk, Senior Procurement Manager, introduced participants to the operation of elevators at the start of harvest, and spoke about grain and oilseed cleaning and processing service prices to meet quality standards.
